Subscription Terms

Hobio operates on a subscription-based access model.

An active subscription grants users eligibility to participate in the platform’s matchmaking system, leagues, rankings, tournaments, and related platform features during the active subscription period.

A subscription provides access to the platform and participation eligibility, but does not guarantee a specific number of matches, opponents, tournament placements, or uninterrupted activity.

Hobio may offer multiple subscription plans, including but not limited to:

• 3-month subscriptions
• 6-month subscriptions
• 12-month subscriptions
• Promotional or limited-time offers

The standard minimum subscription period is 3 months.

Subscription pricing, promotions, discounts, and offers may change over time at the discretion of Hobio.

Current pricing and active offers are displayed on the platform at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions become active at the beginning of the next matchmaking cycle following successful payment confirmation.

This structure is intended to align subscription periods with the platform’s matchmaking system and prevent users from losing partial days before their first assignment cycle.

Hobio reserves the right to define matchmaking cycle timing and participation cut-off times.

Automatic renewal may be offered as an optional feature during purchase.

If enabled by the user:

• The subscription may automatically renew at the end of the current subscription period
• The payment method on file may be charged automatically

If automatic renewal is not enabled, the subscription will expire automatically at the end of the active subscription period unless manually renewed.

Users may disable automatic renewal at any time before the next billing cycle.

Subscription access may be temporarily granted pending payment confirmation.

If payment fails, remains incomplete, is reversed, or cannot be verified:

• Access to the platform may be limited or suspended
• Participation in matchmaking cycles may be restricted
• The subscription may be cancelled until successful payment is completed

Hobio reserves the right to review and manually verify suspicious or incomplete payments when necessary.

An active subscription gives users eligibility to participate in scheduled matchmaking cycles.

Hobio aims to provide regular weekly matchmaking opportunities whenever reasonably possible based on:

• Active player availability
• City and category population
• Skill distribution
• Scheduling participation
• Platform activity levels

However, Hobio does not guarantee:

• A specific number of matches
• A specific number of opponents
• Opponent skill accuracy
• Tournament availability
• Court availability
• Successful completion of every scheduled match

Users may request a temporary subscription pause for verified extended absence reasons lasting at least 14 days.

Examples may include:

• Verified medical inability to participate
• Extended travel
• Temporary work relocation
• Other reasonable long-term absence situations

Hobio may request reasonable supporting documentation before approving a pause request.

Pause requests must generally be submitted at least 24 hours before the start of the next matchmaking cycle.

If approved:

• The user account may temporarily become inactive
• The remaining subscription period may be preserved
• The user may later resume access using the remaining unused subscription time

Hobio reserves the right to approve or deny pause requests individually and to deny repeated or abusive requests.

If a user with an active tournament match receives an approved subscription freeze or pause:

• The tournament opponent may automatically advance
• Active tournament participation may be forfeited
• Tournament progression is not guaranteed to be preserved

When a subscription expires:

• The user may lose access to matchmaking participation
• Rankings, tournaments, and certain platform features may become restricted
• The account may remain visible on the platform in limited form

Users may reactivate access by purchasing a new subscription.

Hobio reserves the right to change subscription pricing, available plans, discounts, promotional offers, and platform features at any time.

Price changes do not automatically affect already active subscription periods that have already been paid.

Hobio reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate subscriptions in cases of:

• Fraudulent payments
• Abuse of platform systems
• Repeated rule violations
• Manipulation attempts
• Harassment or disruptive behavior
• Violation of platform policies

Refund eligibility in such cases is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Hobio administration reserves the right to:

• Review subscription activity
• Approve or deny pause requests
• Restrict suspicious accounts
• Adjust participation eligibility
• Modify matchmaking participation status when necessary for platform integrity

Administrative decisions are made at the reasonable discretion of Hobio unless otherwise required by applicable law.
